I pray to see my own faults
and embrace them as a mother embraces her child
as a father holds his daughter.
The whole world is my own?
So many days it doesn't feel that way,
I pray to not be a stranger to this world,
to see the whole world as my own.
I pray for your soul, beautiful and bold, to light up the sky above me,
so I can see the light....
